Kristin Cavallari is "happy" with her figure after having added a few extra pounds in recent years.

The "Very Cavallari" star opened up about the new confidence she feels in her body after gaining weight when she spoke to Us Weekly Saturday during an event for her brands Uncommon James and Uncommon Beauty in Amagansett, New York.

"I've put on a lot of weight in the last few years, but in a good way," she told the outlet, before sharing that the goal of her fitness regimen at the moment is just to maintain the muscle that she has built.

"I'm not trying to lose weight," she continued. "I don't weigh myself. I can tell how my clothes fit me."

The "Laguna Beach" alum admitted that while looking at some of her past pictures, she was "shocked at how thin" she used to be.

"I didn't realize it at the time, how thin I was. So I'm happy that I've put on weight," Cavallari added. "I'm really petite. I have no hips. I'm just small. And so if I don't work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me."

Discussing her workout regimen, the "Hills" alum said she has been gaining muscle with the help of a professional trainer, with whom she tries to have three one-on-one workouts every week.

"He kicks my a--. He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I've ever lifted in my entire life," she explained. "I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I'm the strongest I've ever been."

She added that her workouts don't stop with her trainer-led regimen because she also exercises for at least 30 minutes on her own on other days of the week.

The mom of three also said she feels "comfortable" in her skin and her work-life balance is at a "perfect place" now.

Cavallari shares three kids — sons Camden Jack, 9, and Jaxon Wyatt, 8, and daughter Saylor James, 6 — with ex-husband Jay Cutler. She announced her separation from Cutler in April 2020 after 10 years together.

Cavallari, who has since been linked to comedian Jeff Dye and singer Chase Rice, shared on her Instagram Story on June 23 the dating advice she received from her sons, E! News reported.

"Jaxon just said I need to date somebody older," she said in the video. Her son Jaxon then quipped off-camera, "Older, a lot older."

When Cavallari asked why she should date someone older, Jaxon responded, "Young people are crazy."

The boys also poked fun at their mom's coral-colored lipstick, suggesting that she should "wear better lipstick."

"Maybe that's the issue. I'm wearing orange lips today," Cavallari jokingly said,
