Kylian Mbappe's mother has rubbished reports suggesting the French forward has extended his deal with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Mbappe's current contract with PSG is due to expire at the end of the 2021-22 season. French publication Le Parisien reported Thursday that PSG and Mbappe had finally reached an agreement that would see the former Monaco forward continue in Paris until 2024.

"It is completely false that Kylian has renewed," Fayza Lamari, Mbappe's mother, told Spanish outlet Marca.

"There's no agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain or any other club. Discussions around Kylian's future continue in great serenity to allow him to make the best choice, in the respect of all the parties," she said in another statement, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist, who has a credible record in the European transfer market, further revealed that the French player is currently discussing his future with his family and will soon make a decision.

Le Parisien had also reported that Mbappe's new two-year deal with PSG would include an option to extend by another season and the player was offered a salary of $53 million per season. The deal would also include a massive bonus of $104 million for his continuity, the report claimed.

PSG recently sealed the Ligue 1 title, Mbappe's fourth league title with the Parc des Princes club. The 23-year-old forward has been in an exceptional form, having netted 35 goals and 23 assists in 43 games for PSG in all competitions.

Mbappe is reportedly waiting to wrap up the 2021-22 season with PSG to reveal the much-awaited news about his future. PSG are left with just three games more in the ongoing campaign, against Troyes, Montpellier and Metz.

Mbappe pushed for a move to Real Madrid last summer. The club had made multiple offers for the player but they were ignored by PSG.
