Kylie Jenner and Blac Chyna have one of the most passive-aggressive feuds brewing on social media, but the brunette teen’s Instagram name change to “King Kylie” wasn’t just another subtle diss, Hollywood Life wrote Wednesday.

Jenner is reportedly dating Chyna’s ex Tyga, which is the root of their apparent quarrel. The former couple shares 2-year-old son King Cairo together, but the reality star doesn’t want to bring the toddler into their drama.

“Kylie’s issues with Blac Chyna are between the two of them. That precious little boy has absolutely nothing to do with their issues. Kylie would never in a million years drag King into her issues with his mother. Kylie loves that little boy and thinks he’s such an adorable young man,” an insider told Hollywood Life exclusively.

So why would she change her name from “Kylizzle” to “King Kylie”? The insider said it has to do with her love for King Cairo. “It’s a tribute to Tyga’s son, King. Kylie had a blast looking after him and chasing him around the basketball court at Tyga’s game last weekend. She can’t count the number of times she said ‘King’ at the game,” the insider said. “She had the time of her life with him and thinks he’s just as cute as a button. So she decided to make that her name on Instagram for now. She’s just showing the little guy some love.”

After the name change, Chyna didn’t hit back on Instagram. Instead, she posted pictures with new boyfriend and professional boxer J’Leon Love. Jenner didn’t address the name change either and promoted her new clothing line with sister Kendall for Top Shop.
