Lala Kent was still optimistic about her relationship with fiancé Randall Emmett a week before she scrubbed him from her Instagram.

The "Vanderpump Rules" star, 31, admitted during an interview with Page Six on Oct. 11 that her relationship with Emmett made "zero sense." But at the time, she was hopeful that their romance would eventually make sense to fans.

"I know that my relationship makes absolutely no sense on paper," she told the outlet during Travel & Give’s fourth annual fundraiser, hosted by Moun Lakay at TomTom in West Hollywood. "I am completely aware of that."

Kent then expressed hope that her fans might see a different side of her relationship with the 50-year-old film producer on the hit Bravo reality series' current season, where they will showcase their romance for the first time since going public as a couple in 2018.

"I feel like as time goes on, you'll see him more and maybe you'll think to yourself, 'OK, this does make sense.' At least that's my hope for viewers," the model and mom-of-one said.

Kent, who shares 7-month-old daughter Ocean with the Hollywood producer, added that she was happy Emmett was finally appearing on "Vanderpump Rules" after years of keeping their life as a couple away from the cameras. She also acknowledged their 19-year age difference that once raised eyebrows among her co-stars.

"It’s wonderful to have him on this season. Our relationship was so unexpected and we never thought we’d showcase it on TV like this because there was so much judgment surrounding it in the beginning," she explained.

Kent continued, "But the whole cast loves him so much now and he adds such a fun element to the show. I’m excited for people to see that. I think people have, for a very long time, seen my relationship from afar and they might not understand it. They finally get to dive into what our relationship is about."

It remains unknown if Emmett's appearance will push through after reports surfaced Monday that he and Kent had called it quits after being engaged for three years.

Kent first sparked breakup rumors Sunday when she removed all photos of Emmett from her Instagram page and also "liked" a post on the platform about him allegedly cheating on her. The post featured a photo of Emmett placed next to an image of Lisa Rinna holding up a gun, along with the caption: "All of us if Rand cheated on Lala."

Kent also shared a video of two friends helping her move into the Beverly Hills Hotel with their 7-month-old daughter and had Beyoncé’s "Sorry" playing in the background.

Videos and pictures of what appeared to be Emmett in Nashville with two women recently spread on Instagram and Twitter.
