Apple has not yet confirmed that it is working on a new 16-inch MacBook Pro. However, it seems that everyone is already anticipating the arrival of the larger display laptop this month. And if the latest renders are accurate, the device is going to look a lot like the concept images shared by 9to5mac.

New renders of the 16-inch MacBook Pro surfaced online, giving us the idea of what the upcoming device from Apple would look like. The design shows a 16-inch screen with a Touch Bar and resembles a lot like the 15-inch MacBook Pro. According to rumors, the upcoming Apple laptop will have the same size as its predecessor, and the larger display is due to slimmer bezels to give users a larger screen.

The concept images imagine the body of the 16-inch MacBook Pro to be a little curved and less boxy compared to its predecessor. Additionally, it shows that the device has three USB-C ports and three Thunderbolt ports. The current Apple MacBook Pro only has four USB-C ports. As for the release date, rumors have it that the Cupertino-based tech giant is going to release the 16-inch MacBook Pro this month.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro is also anticipated to be the first laptop to replace the butterfly keyboard to a scissor-switch type keyboard. Of course, not everything is accurate about the concept. These are purely based on the discussions and chatters surrounding the upcoming MacBook Pro.

This October, Apple is anticipated to hold a public launch event with the 16-inch MacBook being one of the possible products to be unveiled along with iPad Pro, and the retail launch of Mac Pro. With only a few days before the month ends, either we would see the unveiling of the new Apple laptop with Tim Cook, or we might read about it from a boring press release on the Apple official site.

Just like most renders and concepts, we suggest that you take this with a grain of salt and with great skepticism. If the release window is accurate, we might be hearing more of these speculations about the 16-inch MacBook Pro between now and its rumored release date.
