“The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D” will be released in spring 2015 for the portable Nintendo console 3DS in the United Kingdom, according to a Nintendo Direct presentation on Wednesday. A North American release date for “Majora’s Mask 3D” has yet to be confirmed.

Nintendo will also release a special “Majora’s Mask” collector’s edition, which will include a double-sided poster, a decorated steel case and a jewelry box.

“Majora’s Mask” originally launched for the Nintendo 64 in 2000, selling 314,000 copies during its first week in Japan, and 3 million worldwide. Nintendo released the title for the Wii’s Virtual Console service in 2009.

“Majora’s Mask” is the sixth main installment of the popular “Legend of Zelda” series.” The story centers around “Zelda” protagonist Link, who can transform into different beings using various masks. The title garnered universal acclaim, earning a score of 95/100 on Metacritic.
