It looks like Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller) is going to play an important role in achieving Legion of Doom’s ultimate goal.

In a recent interview with Collider, “Legends of Tomorrow” star Matt Letscher said that Snart, a.k.a. Captain Cold, is going to be a big help to the villainous group. “It’s Snart’s relationships with the other Legends that are part of the package that comes with him, that Thawne is interested in exploiting,” Letscher revealed. “There’s a lot to be mined there, as the season goes forward. Snart is valuable, on more than one level.”

While adding Snart to the Legion of Doom will definitely make the group more powerful, convincing him to join the team and go against the Legends won’t be easy.

Miller told Entertainment Weekly earlier this month that he doesn’t think Snart will work well with Thawne, Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) since his cold gun-wielding character has always been a leader type. “What I can tell you is that Snart is not used to taking orders,” Miller told the news outlet when asked how his character will change the dynamic of the group. “He’s not a team player. That was certainly his story the first season on ‘Legends,’ so I expect fireworks. I look forward to it.”

Letscher confirmed to Collider that Snart’s arrival will change the dynamic of the Legion of Doom, but “only to the extent that Snart’s personality changes it.” “Thawne isn’t going to let him into this arrangement without a full understanding that Snart is onboard and committed to the overall goal of the Legion of Doom,” Letscher said.
