Kendrick Lamar took home five Grammys and rocked the annual awards show Monday, but he wasn't the only rapper making waves that night. Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz decided to give fans a sneak peek at their upcoming collaboration "Collegrove" with a new song called "Rolls Royce Weather Everyday." The two rappers premiered the song on The Tonight Show and had some help from the house band, The Roots, and Florida duo Black Violin.

Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have previously worked together and put out a hit single called "Duffle Bag Boy" in 2007. You can watch Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz's performance below:

According to Billboard, 2 Chainz teased the project with Lil Wayne on the Rap Radar podcast in November 2015. He said the album would likely be out "sooner than people think."

"Collegrove" could hold Weezy fans over until the highly anticipated "Tha Carter V" gets released. After being delayed for over two years due to a dispute between Cash Money Records and co-founder Birdman, the record could finally drop soon. Lil Wayne shared a picture on Instagram in January of him in studio along with Birdman, leading many to believe the two have made amends.

Weezy has released several mixtapes since 2014 to keep fans happy with new music. In 2015, the "Lollipop" rapper released "Free Weezy Album," "Sorry 4 the Wait 2" and "No Ceilings 2." 2 Chainz has also put out mixtapes recently including January's "Felt Like Cappin" and 2015's "Trap-A-Velli Tres." It's unclear if "Collegrove" will be a full length mixtape or an EP.
