Rapper Lil Wayne has broken his silence on his split from Denise Bidot when he shared a cryptic message on social media.

Taking it to Twitter, the 38-year-old musician wrote some poetic lines and talked about the way he expresses his love. However, Wayne did not confirm or deny the breakup.

“I live the way I love and love the way I live. I'm a lover, not a lighter because they burn out,” Wayne wrote.

In his message, the rapper also shared that he is an “eternal fire” and implied that Bidot could not handle the heat of being in a relationship with someone like him.

“I am an eternal fire and burning love, either leave with a tan, a 3rd degree burn, or stay and die in love. You’re sweating. Sincerely, the fireman,” the rapper added.

The rumors started after the “Mirror” rapper met up with the U.S. President Donald Trump and endorsed him for the 2020 presidential election. The rapper praised Trump for his work on criminal justice reform. He also shared a picture of his meeting with the POTUS on his official Twitter account.

“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he's done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” Wayne tweeted.

Bidot allegedly confirmed the split on Instagram writing, “Sometimes love just isn’t enough,” alongside a broken heart emoji, per E! News. The model has deactivated her account since then.

On the other hand, one of Bidot’s close friends told MTO News that the model has indeed broken up with the artist and his Trump endorsement was one of the reasons for their separation.

“She broke up with Wayne. It wasn't just his Trump support, but that was a big part. [Denise] was shocked when she saw Wayne come out with Trump. She's so disappointed in him,” the source was quoted by the publication, as saying.

Wayne and Bidot met each other in 2019 and started dating in June 2020.
