The “Love & Hip Hop: New York” Season 9 premiere will be a special treat for die-hard fans who will witness the return of some of the most popular “LHHNY” cast members. Although hip-hop is their passion, the stars will struggle with personal drama that will not only threaten their careers, but it will also test their relationships with the ones they love most.

Before tuning into episode 1, check out the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” Season 9 cast below:

Juelz Santana And Kimbella Vanderhee

Over the weekend, Juelz proposed to Kimbella, but when the couple appears on screen during “LHHNY” Season 9, they will be dealing with less-than-stellar circumstances. After Juelz was caught trying to bring a gun through airport security, he was placed on house arrest and forced to live in his condo. The court order has left Kimbella to raise their children alone in their mansion, and she will grow tired of holding down the household on her own. All Kimbella wants Juelz to do is own up to his mistakes, but if he can’t act like the man his family needs, she is willing to end it all. However, considering Kimbella accepted his proposal, Juelz most likely did something special to win her over.

Yandy Smith

Yandy isn’t on good terms with Kimbella, who was once her bestie, but her relationship with a little girl in the foster system is beginning to grow. While Yandy is more than willing to open her home to a complete stranger, her mother-in-law, Judy is skeptical about the mysterious girl who Yandy doesn’t really know.

Joe Budden And Cyn Santana

Fans haven’t seen Joe and Cyn since “Love & Hip Hop: New York” Seasons 4 and 5, respectively, but during their time off camera, the two managed to find love in one another. Joe has retired from rapping and has turned his focus into his podcast. However, his dedication isn’t sitting too well with Cyn, who craves intimacy after the birth of their son, Lexington.

After suffering a devastating miscarriage, the couple is finally expecting a bundle of joy. Despite the events of the past, Remy is refusing to cancel her work commitments, which means the two will have to figure out a way to have a healthy pregnancy while bringing in steady checks.

Rich Dollaz

Life is usually sweet for Richie D, but this time around viewers will see him hit his lowest point. When Rich finds out the mother of his daughter shot her husband during an altercation, he will have to comfort their child, who is terrified her mother will be sent to prison.

Alexis Skyy

After relocating to NYC to focus on her career, Alexis finds it difficult to have a professional relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Fetty Wap. Although the aspiring artist is excited to throw herself into her work, will her resentment towards Fetty distract from reaching her ultimate goal?

Maino And Maggie Carrie

“LHHNY” Season 9 will be a stressful one for Maino, who will be busy doing everything he can to help Maggie feel comfortable after she was shot in the leg at one of his shows. While the couple is grateful she survived her injury, Maggie can’t help but think about what if?

He is eager for his music to gain notoriety and believes a performance at the Dyckman basketball game will be the perfect opportunity. Once he is reminded about his limited female fan base, he will realize the performance could threaten his career.

Also returning to the cast will be Jonathan Fernandez, who is still pretty messy, but will attempt to create harmony among his loved ones. Unfortunately, Jonathan will have a difficult season once he tries to bring his friends, Juju and Anais, together only to discover they’re more interested in exchanging blows rather than pleasantries.

“Love & Hip Hop: New York” Season 9 premieres Monday at 8 p.m. EST on VH1.
