The title of “Lucifer” Season 5 premiere episode has been revealed online by the producers. The title teases a “sad” start of what will be the final season of the popular TV series.

The official Twitter page of the writers of the TV series has released a picture of the script of Season 5 premiere episode. The title has been revealed to be “Really Sad Devil Guy.” The script has been written by Jason Ning, and it will be directed by Eagle Egilsson.

Following the events in Season 4 finale, the fans expected the next episode to be a sad start, especially after it was announced that the show will not be renewed after this. Co-showrunner Ildy Modrovich had previously teased that the initials of the title are “R.S.D.G.,” and she asked the fans to guess what the title could be.

Commenting on the title reveal, Modrovich jokingly wrote on Twitter that her favorite guess has to be “ Rediscovering She Devil Goats.” With the fans getting their first big clue about what the “Lucifer” Season 5 premiere episode is about, the fans have started to speculate about what they will see on the show.

The titles of the TV series are usually based on a line featured in the episode. With the Devil (Tom Ellis) in a sad state in the premiere episode, it remains to be seen who will make this remark.

The previous season ended with the Devil revealing his full form on Earth and taking command of the demons who had come to Earth. The event forced him to go back to Hell and take over his position as the king there. The next season will be about the impact of that decision.

Production of “Lucifer” Season 5 will begin on Sept. 6m, TV Line reported. The show will premiere sometime next year. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
