Maggie Gyllenhaal has made little brother Jake an uncle again, after giving birth to a baby girl, Gloria Ray.

Gyllenhaal, 34, and her husband Peter Sarsgaard, 41, welcomed their new bundle of joy on Apr. 19 in New York, a rep for the actress confirmed to USA Today on Monday.

Gloria Ray joins big sister Ramona, 5.

Gyllenhaal and Sarsgaard have been married since 2009, but have been in a romantic relationship for nearly a decade. While their respective films have made a lot of noise over the years (thanks to projects like Sherrybaby, The Dark Knight, Crazy Heart, An Education and the upcoming Lovelace), the pair have been fairly quiet when it comes to their private lives.

This most recent pregnancy was no different.

In March, during a press tour for her film Hysteria, Gyllenhaal admitted to USA Today that she tried to hide her pregnancy for the first three and a half months.

I find it difficult to pretend you're not pregnant, which I had to do . . . I went to film festivals. I'm throwing up in the bathroom and having to keep pretzels in my purse, and having to fit into dresses, she said.

Gyllenhaal also said at the time that she didn't want anyone to make an issue of her due date and other things related to her baby, for the sake of privacy.

I have to think about that stuff, she told USA Today.

Meanwhile in other celebrity baby news, Jessica Simpson is still pregnant. According to a new photo obtained by Us Weekly, the very pregnant singer went for a drive with fiancé and baby daddy Eric Johnson in Los Angeles over the weekend. Around her due date some nine days ago, Simpson took to Twitter to confirm that she was indeed, still pregnant.

To everyone who keeps congratulating me on the birth of my baby girl . . . I'm still pregnant!! Don't believe what you read ladies and gents, she wrote, adding that she had a dream that she gave birth in a leopard caftan.
