‘Mama June: From Not To Hot’ Season 3: Alana To Conquer Hollywood?

“Mama June: From Not To Hot” is coming back this March with an all-new season. From the looks of things, the new installment will see Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson trying her luck in conquering Hollywood. Elsewhere, Mama June is going all out in losing more pounds after gaining some following her massive transformation.

Based on the teaser for “Mama June: From Not To Hot” Season 3, fans will see Honey Boo Boo’s “Dancing With the Stars” journey on the WE tv reality series. The clip begins with Alana proudly announcing to her family that she’s joining ABC’s reality dance competition. A few scenes of her rehearsing are then shown.

“This March, Alana’s ready for Hollywood. But is Hollywood ready for her?” the voiceover says in the trailer. Apparently, Honey Boo Boo still has her antics intact and these do not impress talent scouts. At one point, Mama June’s daughter is asked if it’s her first time to audition. Then another scene shows her farting loudly while holding a huge printed selfie, causing the agent to be disappointed in the 13-year-old reality star.

Aside from Alana’s Hollywood journey, the new season of “Mama June: From Not To Hot” will also document June Shannon’s attempt at losing more weight after gaining more than 20 pounds following her life-changing transformation. The trailer features a scene where Mama June gives a disheartened look after stepping on a weighing scale.

The rest of the clip is basically a montage of June working out and doing some really heavy-duty stuff in hopes of sweating out the weight she’s gained. Surprisingly, the trailer ends with a teaser that Mama June will be joined by a mystery person throughout her intense weight loss program. Who could it be?

Filming for the third season started late last year. The Georgia film office has confirmed that production on the new “Mama June: From Not To Hot” installment is set to run through April of 2019. This means fans will get to see the more up-to-date developments in Mama June and Alana’s endeavors.

A lot of things happened in Season 2. Mama June fell in love and welcomed boyfriend Geno Doak to their family. Pumpkin gave birth and got married to Josh. And who could forget Alana coaching her mom for a beauty pageant? Lastly, Mama June made the finale even more shocking when she ambushed her beau with a surprise wedding. Fans will most likely see the continuation of these storylines when the show returns next month.
