“Mama June: Road To Redemption” Season 6 will not air a new episode this week, but it will premiere a special installment ahead of the Memorial Day holiday.

Mama June Shannon, 42, took to Instagram Wednesday to update fans on what will happen this Friday. Instead of the regular programming, We TV has decided to do an “All-Day Mamathon” before airing the “Mama-morial” special at 8 p.m. ET.

The teaser trailer for the special shared by Mama June shows exciting content, including snippets of behind-the-scenes footage from the previous season. Mama June’s daughters, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 16, and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 22, will host the special based on the trailer.

In the caption Mama June wrote for the post, she revealed that the “Mama-morial” special would feature never-before-seen footage from Season 5 of their family’s reality show. She added that they would be going live after the episode to interact with their fans.

Honey Boo Boo also shared the trailer on her Instagram. Both posts from the mother and daughter duo quickly received positive messages from their fans, who got excited for the special after seeing the teaser.

“You guys are so funny, seriously. I ain’t going to miss nothing Mama [June]. I can’t wait for this to come out. [W]e already got your show taped,” one wrote.

“Yay! I’ll definitely be watching, and I’m such a big fan! I’m glad mama is doing fine and the rest of the family,” another added.

“You guys make me happy. I know there’s ups and downs, and with you I go up and down, but it really makes me happy that you are back on,” a third user commented.

Since a new episode will not air this week, fans can look forward to the return of “Road To Redemption” Season 6 with an all-new installment next week during the show’s original timeslot at 9 p.m. ET.

Season 6 premiered on May 13. Days after the new season debuted, Mama June dropped a bombshell when she revealed online that she had decided to work closely with a new business and talent manager named Tonia Ryan.

Her announcement received mixed responses from her fans. Some were glad that she got rid of her former manager Gina Rodriguez. Others defended Gina from the backlash, saying she was probably the one who got rid of Mama June.
