Mama June Slammed For Not Taking Pregnancy Test; Jennifer Stealing Her Spotlight?

Mama June Shannon was recently slammed by fans and viewers of “Mama June: From Not To Hot” for claiming on her show that she could be pregnant even though she failed to take a pregnancy test.

After the latest episode of the WE tv series last week, many took to Twitter to criticize Honey Boo Boo’s mother because she told her boyfriend Geno Doak that she might be pregnant without verifying first if it’s true. She simply made the assumption after noticing her delayed period.

“I don’t understand how you don’t take a pregnancy test and tell your man your [sic] pregnant,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“I turned 43 six weeks after my last baby. They kept calling it a ‘geriatric pregnancy’ lol and sent me to a high risk Dr. But I DID take a pregnancy test before I started telling people I was pregnant. I think #MamaJune secretly wishes she was really pregnant,” user Traci DeGraffenreid opined.

Fans are also angry that WE tv made it seem like Mama June was really pregnant way before Season 3 premiered because all the teasers and trailers kept on mentioning that the reality star could be packing on the pounds for two.

Meanwhile, some fans are turning their attention to Mama June’s nemesis Jennifer Lamb, who has embarked on her own weight loss journey. Sugar Bear’s wife’s massive transformation is also being documented on the reality series and it seems more and more viewers are rooting for her after Mama June’s arrest.

From the looks of things, Jennifer could be taking over the show this season. One trailer that the network released before the show premiered last month hinted at a makeover that will give Alana the shock of her life.

Jennifer hasn’t shared an updated photo on her Instagram, but she’s been dropping some hints by sharing screenshots of her scenes on the show. She’s has also expressed her gratitude to all the viewers who gave her “encouraging messages” for her weight loss journey.

While Mama June is spending some time away from the public eye, her daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon has been doing some damage control. She did all the pre-premiere promotions with sister Alana and she even addressed Mama June’s arrest in a statement that WE tv aired at the start of the second episode.
