Things are about to get really messy on the all-new episode of “Mama June: From Not To Hot” Season 3 this week. The WE tv series is apparently tackling the controversial arrest of Mama June and boyfriend Geno Doak for drug-related charges.

The teaser trailer for episode 3 that the network released via Twitter earlier this week shows Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson weeping heavily while admitting something shocking to Mama June Shannon. “I want to come home, but I’m scared inside your house,” an emotional Alana tells Mama June in the snippet.

Though it wasn’t clear why Honey Boo Boo is afraid to enter Mama June’s house, the preview makes it seem as though the 13-year-old’s fears stem from Mama June’s beau Geno, who is seen getting handcuffed in the flash of scenes prior to Alana’s breakdown.

The trailer also features mugshots of Mama June and Geno and how they made headlines and a lot of buzz online following their arrest at an Alabama gas station a few days before Season 3 premiered.

One scene shows Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon’s husband Joshua Efird pointing out that Mama June has been lying to everybody. The teaser then jumps to a scene of Mama June heavily crying while Lauryn gives her a hug. Lauryn is also seen telling the camera that Geno has been a father figure fo her and Alana, but things quickly changed because of the controversy.

Meanwhile, ever since Mama June was released shortly after she was detained, the matriarch has been on the down low. As for Geno, he decided to break his silence this week and flip off haters who have been spreading lies about his relationship with his children.

Based on the court documents obtained by TMZ, Mama June has defended Geno from all the accusations being thrown at him. The television personality indicated that she and Geno love each other very much and that he’s been very loving toward her daughters.

Mama June also wants the judge to lift a ban that prohibits Geno from coming near her. According to her, Geno makes her feel safe while she is slowly losing her vision. Hence, she is seeking for the dismissal of the domestic violence charge against her beau.
