Mama June Shannon slammed a “Karen” who called her out for allegedly being too desperate to find a new man after her split from long-term boyfriend Geno Doak.

The 42-year-old reality star took to TikTok Tuesday to respond to a critic who left a comment on her social media account, accusing Mama June of being desperate to find a new man instead of focusing on fixing her relationship with her youngest daughter, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 16, after calling it quits with Geno.

“Instead of looking for a man, love yourself and your child who [you] left with her sister while you go out and let a man use [you] and made you broke,” read the comment that Mama June highlighted in her latest TikTok update.

“Karen” is the term that a popular meme used to refer to a specific type of middle-class, white woman, who behaves as though she is the most privileged person, as per the BBC.

In response to the Karen’s statement, Mama June set the record straight about her recent posts on the short-form, video-sharing platform. Apparently, most of her latest updates alluded to her desire to find true love and being ready for when that time comes.

“Look honey! This Karen or any other Karen. Just because I make a video doesn’t mean I’m looking for a man and I’m desperate cause I’m not. I’m happy with myself, I love myself, and I am having the time of my f—king life with myself,” the reality star says in the new clip she posted.

Before concluding her post, she assured the critic that she and her kids “were doing amazing.” She also put the username of the critic in the caption of her post.

A number of fans reacted to Mama June’s post positively. Several said they were pleased because the controversial matriarch addressed the issue once and for all.

“I’m glad you cleared that up, cause you really have been giving off vibes that all you want is another man. Your girls have been through enough,” wrote one concerned fan.

“Whether you are or aren’t looking for a man or anything is no one’s business anyway. I’d block them and not even give them a response,” another added.

“You do not owe those people any explanation. They don’t matter and they don’t know your life. Keep loving yourself cause your [happiness] is showing,” a different user commented.

Ever since Mama June confirmed in mid-August that she and Geno, 45, were no longer together, she has been posting about working on herself and loving herself more on social media. However, her posts have seemingly shifted to her wanting to find true love in the recent weeks.

Meanwhile, the reason for her and Geno’s breakup was revealed early this week. Sources exclusively told TMZ that the “From Not To Hot” star left her ex because she was already done with their toxic lifestyle and she was serious in getting better, while Geno was still drinking a lot.
