Mama June’s Daughter Pumpkin ‘Glad’ Geno Doak Returned To Social Media

Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon reacted to her mom’s ex-boyfriend’s return to social media, saying she’s “glad” for him.

On Sunday, Geno Doak, 46, the former longtime beau of Mama June Shannon, 42, took to Instagram to share a selfie he took while lying on his bed. In the snap, the former “Mama June: From Not to Hot” star looked intently at the camera while resting his head on a red pillow and sporting a gray T-shirt.

In the caption, Doak announced that he is accepting requests on Cameo, an app that allows fans to pay celebrities to record a short, personalized message.

“I’m back and back on Cameo so y’all go get a video message, a text message or a 1on1 video chat,” he told fans in the caption.

While many followers expressed their joy and excitement over Doak’s official return to social media, one comment that stood out on his post came from his ex-girlfriend’s daughter, Pumpkin.

“Glad to see you doing good [clap emoji],” the 22-year-old reality star commented, prompting Doak to quickly respond, “Thank you, Pumpkin! Miss y’all.”

Other fans also dropped positive comments on Doak’s post. Some even complimented him for looking good despite going to prison. But one fan asked him to rekindle his romance with Mama June now that he is back.

“Hope you get back together with [Mama June] and take care of her. She needs you and you are both meant to be together. [Pumpkin] please reunite them. That way they can hopefully marry each other,” wrote one user.

Doak went silent on social media last year after he was sentenced to 16 months in prison for his crack cocaine case with Mama June. His ex was sentenced to community service in lieu of jail time.

In the same month, Mama June broke her silence online and confirmed that she and Doak called it quits because the latter was still battling some alcohol problems, while she was already moving forward with her life and trying to get sober.

Last month, Mama June made headlines when she was spotted kissing and holding hands with her new boyfriend, Justin Stroud. The TLC star and the artist enjoyed the outdoors and had a PDA-filled stroll in Runyon Canyon at the time.

It’s not clear when exactly Mama June and Stroud started dating, but tabloids claimed the two have been seeing each other exclusively for months before the sighting.
