Man Had Sex With Dog While Dressed As Husky

A Florida man was arrested for filming and uploading pictures and videos of him having sex with a dog on a porn site. The incident took place at his home, and the man, identified as Christian Nichols, was dressed up like a husky during the act.

Police arrested Nichols Feb. 11, but had been investigating him since Jan. 25 after the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office was informed about the videos and photographs on the internet. The sheriff’s office said it found out about the dog rape when someone from another state saw the images Nichols had posted and got in touch with the Pinellas County Animal Service, who in turn informed the sheriff’s office.

Nichols, a21-year-old from Fairwood Court from Oldsmar, Florida, was charged with one count of aggravated animal cruelty involving a Siberian husky named Ember. The police said Nichols hit the dog when the animal tried to get away from him.

A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said, “The video depicts images of a man dressed in a black-and-white Husky dog costume. The costumed man is seen in the video using his penis and multiple penis-shaped sex toys to have inappropriate sexual contact with a Siberian husky dog.”

Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit used various internet tracking techniques to track the video and photos to Nichols. Detectives removed Ember and another dog from Nichols’ house after his arrest.

After his arrest from his home Monday, Nichols admitted to making the video with his husky. He was being held on a $10,000 bond. He was also charged with third degree felony and 10 first degree misdemeanor obscenity charges, specifically the “prohibition of certain acts” in connection with materials, which in this case would mean the photos and the video.

In Florida, the penalty on conviction for a first degree misdemeanor is a term of imprisonment not exceeding one year. Nichols was due in court Wednesday.

In a similar incident in January, a man from Sherman, Texas, was arrested for having sex with his dog. Ernesto Mercado, 42, was booked into jail on charges of bestiality and later released on a $5,000 bond.

A couple from Suffolk, Virginia were arrested in October on the counts of animal cruelty and bestiality when they removed their pet Doberman Pinscher’s nails so it were easier for them to have sex with him. The couple was arrested when police found a video at their house. Richard Patterson faced bestiality and animal cruelty charges, while his wife was charged with six counts of bestiality.
