Werner’s agent reportedly has informed Man Utd and Chelsea that the player's deal with Liverpool is “effectively done”, as reported by It is understood that when Bundesliga was suspended earlier this year due to the outbreak of coronavirus, Werner met Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, a fellow German, three times where the latter assured the player that he was wanted at Anfield.

The report also mentioned that while RB Leipzig’s Werner has agreed to personal terms with Liverpool, which promised $175,000-a-week to the striker, both the clubs have not reached the final terms and conditions in Werner’s deal.
