Mariah Carey and fiancé James Packer’s upcoming wedding will be an intimate ceremony on the island of Barbuda in the Caribbean, TMZ reported late Tuesday. The couple is reportedly expected to marry this June, but the exact dates have yet to be revealed.

The private wedding will include only 50 guests, TMZ reported, citing sources, who also said that the ceremony will take place on the island where Packer is currently building a $250 million resort with Robert De Niro.

Carey and her Australian business mogul boyfriend got engaged last year after a whirlwind romance of seven months. Packer had popped the question to Carey with a 35-carat ring, estimated at $8 million.

In February, Carey joked about her ring to Reuters saying: "It's hideous, take it away, take it away. I was insulted, I was insulted, I couldn't believe." She also added that it was an amazing moment and she was very excited.

Earlier this year, Radar Online reported that the couple has no plans to sign a prenuptial agreement.

“It seems like she has convinced him that there is really no need to even have one to begin with,” a source close to Carey told Radar Online at the time, adding: “She told him that she really doesn’t need his money because she has plenty of her own.”

Carey was previously married to rapper Nick Cannon and has two children with him. Cannon and Carey officially ended their six-year marriage in December 2014.

Meanwhile, as Carey is all set for her wedding, she is also gearing up for a new E! series about her life. In an interview with the New York Times Tuesday, the 45-year-old singer said her four-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, and her fiancé will not be part of the show.
