Billionaire businessman Mark Cuban endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Tuesday in a heated interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

"Donald Trump doesn't want to run a country. He wants to run a campaign," Cuban told Hannity. "Joe Biden actually wants to run a country."

Hannity quickly shot back at Cuban's response.

"Do you believe that he has the strength, the stamina, the mental acuity, the alertness to be taking on what is the toughest job in the world, being the president of the United States?" Hannity asked Cuban. "Do you in your heart believe he does?"

"One hundred percent. Absolutely," Cuban responded. When asked about Biden’s record, Cuban called the Affordable Care Act Biden’s “biggest accomplishment” and said “it's unfortunate Trump is trying to dismantle it."

In 2017, an attempt to “repeal and replace” the Affordable Care Act failed after late Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., cast a deciding vote. In the fall, the Supreme Court will hear a lawsuit backed by the Trump administration disputing the legality of the ACA.

Later in the interview, Hannity called Cuban’s politics “nuts.” Hannity is a close friend of Trump and will host a town hall with him in Wisconsin on Thursday.

Cuban has leaned towards libertarianism but voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. The Dallas Mavericks owner has often derided Trump’s management style. Cuban’s endorsement of Biden comes as Trump faces criticism for his handling of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the George Floyd protests.

A New York Times/Siena College poll on Wednesday showed Biden with 50% support to Trump’s 36%.

Cuban is one of the sharks on the ABC program “Shark Tank.” According to Forbes, he has a net worth of $4.3 billion.
