Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, has reacted to Ryan Gosling's wish to play Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and praised the actor for his role as Ken in the new "Barbie" movie.

"Hey, man. If Ryan wants to be Ghost Rider... Gosling's unbelievable... I'd love to find a place for him in the MCU," the executive told MTV News' Josh Horowitz at the San Diego Comic-Con Sunday, Entertainment Weekly reported Monday.

Feige also praised Gosling's Ken, noting the first look at the character generated a lot of attention from media when it was unveiled. "He's dressed up as Ken on Venice Beach and gets more press than giant movies coming out that weekend," he said. "Amazing!"

Gosling made headlines last week when he named Ghost Rider as one of the superhero characters he would like to play during an interview. He also mentioned Captain Canada as one of the characters he had his eye on. The actor then made it clear that there was no truth in the rumors claiming he had already been approached to play MCU's Nova.

Captain Canada, created by Geoff Stirling, his son Scott and artist Danny Bulanadi, first appeared in comic books in the 70s. No actor has played the character yet.

Ghost Rider, on the other hand, has already been portrayed by actors like Nicolas Cage, Lonut Cristian Lefter and Matt Long. Often seen on a bike with a flaming skull, the character first appeared in the comics "Marvel Spotlight," which was released in 1972.

Gosling is currently busy working on "Barbie," a live-action movie that is scheduled to premiere in July next year. The flick features Margot Robbie in the titular role.

Gosling is recently seen in the Netflix movie "The Gray Man," which premiered on the streaming platform on July 22. The movie also stars Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page, Dhanush and Jessica Henwick.

Gosling can be seen next in the upcoming movies "Wolfman," "The Fall Guy" and "The Actor."

As for Marvel Studios, it is set to release "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" on Nov. 11.
