Since there were no grand prize winners that resulted from the Tuesday lottery drawing of $102 million with a cash option of $74.2 million, the jackpot went unclaimed.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $112 million with a cash value of $81.5 million. The numbers will be drawn on Friday, Dec. 3.

Despite the lack of a grand prize winner, there was a player from Texas who hit the Match 5 and won $1 million. However, if the player would have purchased the 2X Megaplier, it would have put their winnings at $2 million for the night.

Aside from the one instant millionaire, there were several small wins that resulted from the night. There were 19 players that hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball, winning $10,000 each.

Meanwhile, five players purchased the Megaplier and were able to hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball, putting their winnings at $20,000. The other wins from the night ranged between $2 and $1,000.

Mega Millions players that are lucky enough to hit the jackpot can choose to receive their grand prize winnings in a one-time lump sum payment or through an annuity.

Players that select the annuity receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as in the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.
