A new set of leaks allegedly containing details for the upcoming major PS5 event surfaced online. The said event would reportedly take place on September 9, according to the leak. During the event, Sony would apparently reveal the full PS5 hardware and UI, the console’s price and its specific release date.

The latest leak came from 4chan, which could mean anyone could have shared it for any reason. Interestingly, while the leak is unverified, it also makes a lot of sense. The leak claimed that the next PS5 event would take place on the same date as the anniversary of PlayStation in America.

Apart from the full hardware PS5 reveal, the leak claimed that one of the major announcements at the upcoming event is the multiplayer reveal of the recently launched “Call of Duty; Black Ops Cold War.” The date aligns with the date provided by reliable “Call of Duty” insiders about the game’s multiplayer reveal. Also, Sony and Activision have a partnership for advertising for the “Call of Duty” franchise.

Aside from those, the leak mentioned that the upcoming PS5 event would announce the release date and price of Sony’s next-generation gaming console. The company would also reportedly reveal other unannounced PS5 features. New PS5 titles are going to be announced at the said event, too, according to the leak.

The said PS5 event in September would reportedly showcase ten gameplay of already revealed PS5 titles. This includes “Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales,” “Ratchet and Clank,” “Gran Turismo 7,” “Demon's Souls,” “Godfall” and “Returnal.” A big horror title would be announced as a PS5 exclusive, according to the leak.

Could it be referring to the much-awaited horror game “Silent Hill?” Sony would reportedly announce 30 different timed-exclusive contents at the said event. It also mentioned that “Horizon Forbidden west,” along with other previously announced titles, would also be at the PS5 September event.

While this may seem exciting, it is best to treat this leak with heavy skepticism. Since the said PS5 event is happening on September 9, fans would not wait longer to confirm if any of the details the leak revealed is true.
