Is Meghan Markle Expecting Twins? Latest Odds Suggest Possible Names
Meghan Markle is rumored to be expecting twins in the spring.
According to bookies Betway, the latest odds of Markle having twins are now at 5/1 from 10/1. Betway originally predicted the possibility of the Duchess of Sussex giving birth to twins at 66/1. However, this figure came down to 10/1 at the start of 2019 and has become lower since then.
Additionally, TwinsUK also revealed that the twinning rate for mothers over the age of 35 is much higher compared to pregnant moms that are below 35 years old.
“There were a few rumors circling around that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were expecting twins and we went 10/1 on it happening at the start of the year. However, we’ve seen plenty of support on the couple welcoming two new members of their family in recent days and have had to cut the prince in half to 5/1 as a result,” Betway’s Alan Alger told Express.
He also said that there is a huge possibility that both of Markle’s babies might be girls, and their names could be Alice and Victoria. Both names are currently at the top of the betting market with odds of 7/1. Other baby girl’s names include Diana and Elizabeth at 12/1.
If Markle and Prince Harry will have a baby boy, the possible names could be James with 9/1, Albert and Arthur at 12/1.
Meanwhile, Markle recently displayed her growing baby bump while at the gala for “The Wider Earth” held in London in support of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust. For the event, Markle wore a figure-hugging Calvin Klein dress with a matching Amanda Wakeley coat. Prince Harry, on the other hand, wore a blue suit and pants.
The Duchess of Sussex’s baby bump seemed much bigger compared to the last time that she was seen in public. During her trip to Birkenhead, the royal told her fans that she is expected to give birth at the end of April.
