Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might follow a particular parenting style that Kate Middleton has practiced.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to welcome their firstborn soon and there are parenting tricks that they can learn from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge especially when it comes to protecting their child’s privacy.

In the ITV program “Secrets of the Royal Babies: Meghan and Harry,” the couple is advised to follow Middleton’s “more intimate style of portraiture.” The program was referring to Middleton taking official photos of her children.

“A lot of the time now Kate takes her own pictures, and she sends them to the media, and we get them that way,” one royal expert said, adding that Middleton is “quite good at them too.”

“Where she’s got the access, that makes it a lot easier doesn’t it.”

By doing this, Prince William and Middleton have managed to reduce the amount of exposure their children have had to professional photographers. Prince Harry and Markle can take the same route if they want to ensure their baby’s privacy.

Aside from privacy, according to Gina Jones from Bumpkins, The Baby Show’s lead experts in baby photography, Middleton is doing this for practical reasons. First, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are showing that they are being accessible and more hands-on. Second, the duchess wanted to be “resourceful with money” because hiring professional photographers would cost more.

In related news, Prince William reportedly isn’t impressed about the rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are naming their baby after Princess Diana. The Duke of Cambridge wanted to name his own daughter Princess Charlotte after their mother, too. However, he felt that it would be a “little unseemly” as Prince Charles has a new wife already. So, he opted to use “Diana” as one of Princess Charlotte’s middle names.

Markle is already due in a few weeks, so the world will soon see the newest addition to the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be moving to Frogmore House in Windsor and they are reportedly already excited to raise their baby there.
