Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are likely to have their own social media account following their split from Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Last week, the palace confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are formally separating from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Prince Harry and Markle will move closer to Queen Elizabeth II as they will now be based in Buckingham Palace. On the other hand, Prince William and Middleton will remain at Kensington Palace.

Following the fab four’s division, Prince Harry and Markle are expected to have their separate social media account. As of late, Prince William, Middleton, Markle and Prince Harry’s social media presence is managed by Kensington Palace on Twitter and Instagram.

“Harry and Meghan have their own patronages, their own endeavours and, of course, their own identity so they will need to decide along with their new team how best to convey all of this to the people around the world who are interested in their work,” a palace source said.

“It's likely they will have their own social media platforms to publicise their work and causes, but nothing has been decided yet,” the insider continued.

Prince Harry and Markle will have their own communications staff and team. However, Kensington Palace will continue to support them until they are settled in their new residence and office.

Some are concerned that the fab four’s split will affect their charity, the Royal Foundation. Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle made their first joint engagement at the Royal Foundation forum last year that was announced to be an annual event. However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t repeat their reunion this year amid their rumored rift.

In related news, Prince Harry was praised for his conservation habit that annoys his wife, Markle. Prince Harry has a habit of turning off the lights at home which upsets the former “Suits” star who doesn’t like the dark.

However, TV host Jeannie Mai felt that the royal is doing the right thing. The TV host said that she likes Prince Harry more for conserving his resources and added that she respects people who “don’t want to waste.”
