Meghan Markle’s candid throwback photo with her ex-boyfriend Cory Vitiello has just been released.

In the snap, Markle is sitting on Vitiello’s lap while smiling from ear to ear. Vitiello, on the other hand, is kissing the Duchess of Sussex’s cheek. The ex-couple’s photo was taken at the Atlas Restaurant in Toronto in May 2016, just one month before the “Suits” alum met Prince Harry.

Markle and Vitiello, a famed celebrity chef who hails from Canada, dated for two years. They started their relationship after Markle finalized her divorce from ex-husband Trevor Engelson. During Markle and Vitiello’s relationship, the latter even praised the former on his Twitter account after she was named as the Global Ambassador of World Vision.

One month after Markle and Vitiello’s photo was originally posted, the former was introduced to Prince Harry by their common friend. Months later, they started dating and in November 2017, they announced their engagement to the world. Prince Harry and Markle tied the knot on May 19 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Less than a month after their engagement, Prince Harry and Markle announced that they are expecting their first child together. The couple will welcome their bundle of joy in the spring of 2019.

There have been ongoing rumors suggesting that Prince Harry and Markle will have twin girls. Bookies Paddy Power revealed last weekend that they have stopped accepting bets regarding Prince Harry and Markle’s baby because it already seems confirmed that they will indeed have twins.

“We had to suspend betting. We saw an almost identical pattern of betting before the announcements of the couple’s engagement and pregnancy. Since the day began, the stream of bets has led us to believe the punters – or an insider source – knows something more than we do,” a spokesperson for Paddy Power told Daily Mail.

But Cosmopolitan noted a simple fact that may put all the rumors to rest. In October, Kensington Palace made an announcement regarding Markle’s pregnancy and said that she and Prince Harry will welcome their baby – not their babies – in the spring of 2019.

However, it is also possible that the palace just didn’t want to give anything away to royal fans this early.
