Meghan Markle was recently accused of marrying into the wrong family by TV presenter Lisa Wilkinson.

While speaking on Network Ten’s “The Project,” the 59-year-old host said that Markle is so intelligent and so good at public speaking, which makes her really strong in areas like girls’ education, homelessness, and poverty. However, these qualities make it seem as though she married into the wrong family.

Guest panelist Steve Price added that Markle had a platform to speak from since she’s a member of the royal family. Wilkinson agreed that the Duchess of Sussex had the opportunity to reach a wider audience, but she also said that she hopes no one would try to clip her wings.

Last week, the “Suits” alum spoke at a panel during International Women’s Day.

“When women miss out on careers, education or opportunities because of the system that they live in, we all suffer,” she said.

During the discussion, Markle also talked about feminism and said that she’s proud to say that her husband is a feminist.

In related news, Markle also stepped out for the Commonwealth Day Service event on Monday night with the other members of the royal family. A body language expert said that Prince Harry’s wife felt as though she is a royal star in her own right during her outing.

Judi James told Express, “Hand-holding is a common gesture for most couples in love, but by pulling Harry’s left arm out with her free hand and pressing it against her own torso, Meghan appeared to be performing a lowering ritual of ingratiation.”

Markle was spotted clinging on to Prince Harry’s arm, which was described by James as a vulnerable gesture. The move was similar to those who just met their partner for the first time.

Prince William and Kate Middleton joined Prince Harry and Markle at the Commonwealth Day Service. But the royal couple did not appear to touch each other like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
