Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their son, Archie, have found their permanent home after staying at Tyler Perry’s Los Angeles mansion for months, a report said.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex bought their own house in California and have actually been living in their new abode for six weeks now, Page Six reported. While rumors pointed to Prince Harry and Markle eyeing a house in bustling L.A., a source told the outlet that they have been residing in their newly purchased Santa Barbara home since July.

The property sits in a posh neighborhood that is also home to other big names like Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey, the report added.

“They are not houseguests of Oprah or anyone else, they bought this home themselves. This is where they want to continue their lives after leaving the UK,” the insider shared.

The source added that this marks the first time either Prince Harry or Markle has owned a house, saying, “It has been a very special time for them as a couple and as a family — to have complete privacy for six weeks since they moved in.”

Prince Harry and Markle plan to raise Archie in this quiet place with “considerable privacy,” hoping that he could have a normal life away from the spotlight, the insider said.

Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared to fit in perfectly in Los Angeles, they “never intended” to stay there. But it had been a “good place” for them to temporarily settle down in as this is where Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, lives.

When Prince Harry and Markle moved from Vancouver Island in Canada to California in March, they temporarily holed up at Perry’s mansion. However, their stay was marred by paparazzi's attempts to get a glimpse of their life.

Due to security reasons, the source didn’t reveal many details about the new home, including the amount the Sussexes paid to purchase the property. However, the tipster maintained that the sixth in line to the throne and the former “Suits” star have thought the decision through and researched about it.

“This is the place where they plan to be happy, make good friends and bring up Archie, giving him the chance to play with other children his age,” the insider said.
