  • Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand shared they want the book to debunk all the false reports and information about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry remain as two of the most talked-about members of the royal family even after their shocking ‘Megxit’ in April. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to step down as senior royals to focus more on spending quality time with their only son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, and to stay away from the never-ending disparagements and condemnations being thrown at them by the British media.

While Meghan and Prince Harry are still adjusting to their new life outside the United Kingdom, rumors are rife that the couple has been looking for ways to earn their own money, especially after they stopped receiving public funds since their infamous exit. The former “Suits” actress is said to be in talks with numerous producers and pals for her planned Hollywood comeback.

There are also claims saying that the Sussex pair is set to release a book titled “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family in Britain and the Commonwealth,” which will be written by Elle magazine royal correspondent Carolyn Durand and Harper’s Bazaar royal editor Omid Scobie. Harper Collins UK, per First Post, confirmed the reports and revealed that it will publish the tell-all biography on August 11.

However, a royal expert, recently, revealed that publishers have canceled some pre-orders of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s imminent book. Dickie Arbiter took to social media to share the problem he encountered with his order. "I pre-ordered this on #Amazon last week and yesterday was told the order had been canceled by the publishers. Anyone else had this problem?" he wrote on Twitter.

Netizens were quick to react to Dickie’s post. “First off it was in the top 10 on Amazon in first 24 hrs. And it’s preordered. So I doubt it’s just 10. Second I purchased this morning so it’s still selling,” Prentice Jones responded to the tweet. “ Well for a start the Title is misleading. They were not locked up so why call it “Freedom” & they are no longer Royals so why say “Modern Royals”. Are they implying they were the 1st Royals to leave the Monarchy for Independence & now implying the RF shld abdicate too!” Victoire Romy stated.

“Shameful if they have contributed to a book a dishonour to the Queen,” Mel Farmer said in the comment section. “No one is interested in reading it. The world has more important things to deal with,” Matthew Eyton-Jones shared. “Could it be they have noticed that the title is an insult (not the Sussexes, because they couldn't care less, but the publisher?). The world is struggling and these two grifters complain about finding freedom from all the wealth and privileges. Such a joke,” Suzanne Brompton penned in the comment section.

Omid Scobie, who is one of the co-authors of the forthcoming book about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, replied to Dickie Arbiter’s post and explained that “there was an error with the Kindle listing on Amazon UK.” Scobie also thanked Arbiter for the support.

For starters, Scobie and Carolyn Durand, previously, revealed that they want the book to portray the real Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have been victims of endless criticisms despite their hard work in public service. Moreover, the two journalists, per Fashion Magazine, wanted to correct all the misconceptions about the Sussex couple.
