Meghan Markle attempted to pull off a style that only Kate Middleton could.

According to a body language expert, the Duchess of Sussex should leave the "pesky style of a clutch bag" to the Duchess of Cambridge. Middleton is more at ease using them compared to Markle. "Only Kate can carry this pesky style of a clutch bag without looking too hampered and even she tends to hold the thing in front of her torso with both hands like a mini-barrier at times," Judi James told Express.

"For a woman like Meghan who is used to her hands-free satchel bags and who made her solo walk up the aisle at her own wedding a tension and anxiety-free zone this pinning down of her own expressive, tactile and more spontaneous side means the royal family could be in danger of losing one of their greatest assets in terms of creating connection with modern women," the expert continued.

James also pointed out a photo where Markle is seen casting the clutch aside. In the animated photo, the new royal is talking to someone and is putting emphasis on what she's saying by demonstrating her hands.

"This is authentic Meghan in full flight: animated about her subject and hugely eloquent," James said about the snapshot. "I love the way the pesky clutch bag has been shoved unceremoniously under her arm and clamped there as she speaks, allowing her to adopt a much more businesslike pose."

"With her head tilted forward and her teeth slightly clenched she is clearly into her message here and those splayed fingers on her raised hands add emphasis that illustrates her interest and passion for her subject-matter," James added.

Markle's fashion has become similar to Middleton since she officially becomes a royal. In fact, according to Anna Mewes, she's morphing into the Duchess of Cambridge when it comes to her wardrobes and hairstyle.

British designer Caroline Castigliano observed the same. For her, the changes in Markle could be due to her bigger role after joining the Firm.

"We're seeing everything about Meghan change. It's very difficult when you're 36 to do this. It's far easier when you're in your early 20s and they can mould and adapt you," Castigliano said. "At the moment, she's really dressing like Kate."
