Meghan Markle’s expensive earrings nearly fooled royal fans.

Last Sunday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex watched "The Lion King" premiere. Markle arrived in a sleek semi-sheer dress by Jason Wu.

She paired her stunning outfit with her favorite Aquazzura heels. She also accessorized with diamond earrings encased in a bold black enamel edging.

According to Hello!, Markle was wearing the Nikos Koulis "4Oui Oui Diamond & Black Enamel Octagonal Stud Earrings" which retail for $12, 204 at U.S. fashion retailer Neiman Marcus. The earrings are customizable since their black enamel casing is removable.

Markle was seen wearing the same earrings at Trooping the Colour. However, Markle wore them without the enamel edging.

Many initially thought that Markle’s earrings were a push present from Prince Harry when she debuted the pair in June.

“Now I'm even more convinced that these earrings that Meghan is wearing is Harry's push present… She first wore this at Trooping but this time looks like it's encased with Onyx. Wow Harry this is a winner!” one fan wrote on Twitter.

Aside from the earrings, netizens were convinced that Markle’s infinity ring was a gift from her husband after she delivered baby Archie. Many also noticed that Markle’s engagement ring has changed. However, not everyone was happy with how she changed the band.

Initially, Markle’s engagement ring, which Prince Harry designed, had a gold band. However, when it was sighted at Trooping the Colour, it already had a diamond-studded design.

According to an insider, Prince Harry was offended when Markle told him that she would update the ring because he put so much thought and effort into designing it. He was humiliated when after it was updated, it looks too similar to the one Markle received from her ex-husband, Trevor Engelson.
