Melania Trump Lambasted For Answering Question Like Miss America; POTUS Confused [VIDEO]

Melania Trump was lambasted by netizens for answering a question like Miss America.

A clip of President Donald Trump and the first lady being asked about the latter’s New Year’s resolution has made rounds on social media. In the video, Melania says her resolution this year is “Peace on the world.” Donald agrees to it, but then disagrees about sharing it for fear that it would be jinxed.

Twitter users have observed a lot of things from the short video especially on the manner the FLOTUS delivered her answer and the thought of her response which many often hear in beauty pageants.

“That awkward moment where Melania thinks she is at a Miss America contest and Donald thinks he is at her birthday party and neither knows what a New Year’s resolution is,” Nelson Flores commented.

“Melania, this is not a tRUMP beauty pageant. ‘Peace on the world’, is that what she said?” another added.

Another commented that Melania’s statement is the “Miss America pageant standard answer.” However, for her, it still sounded fake and rehearsed.

Aside from noticing Melania’s answer, Donald’s reaction to his wife’s response didn’t go unnoticed to the netizens. In his statement, Donald said that “peace is right” but added “I don’t want to say what my resolution is because I think we jinx it, alright?”

Several felt that the POTUS was confused between a New Year’s resolution and a birthday wish. Most, if not all, do not mind sharing their resolution because when others are aware of it, they feel more committed to accomplishing it. However, it’s a different thing when it comes to birthday wishes, because they are kept secret.

In related news, many also lambasted the FLOTUS for making a grammar mistake when she said “peace on the world” instead of “peace in the world.” Some mocked the first lady and suggested that she should take English classes.
