Melania Trump Lambasted Over Grammar Mistake: FLOTUS’ New Year’s Resolution Mocked [VIDEO]

Melania Trump was lambasted over a grammar mistake.

A clip of President Donald Trump and the first lady when the latter was asked about her New Year’s resolution was shared on social media. In the video, Melania says, “Peace on the world.”

Twitter users immediately criticized the FLOTUS for her grammar error after using “on” instead of “in.” Some even questioned the claims that she speaks five languages, including English.

“And she answered like a beauty pageant contestant.. I want peace ‘on’ the world, too but it’s not something I have personally resolved to do this year . Wish I could,” one user wrote with a laughing emoji.

“Peace on the world, doesnt make sense. She needs to take English classes. Elementary school,” another user commented.

However, aside from the grammar mistake, many felt that Melania’s answer was actually inappropriate for the question. In the video, Donald speaks after Melania and says that “peace is right but I’m not sure you’re supposed to say a resolution out loud.” The netizens also ridiculed the POTUS because for them, the first couple failed to grasp the concept of the question.

“I don’t think either of them gets the concept,” a different Twitter user wrote.

“That's exactly what I thought. No one's New Year Resolution is ‘peace on the world.’ They are both so clueless,” another user agreed.

A different online user described the clip of the POTUS and FLOTUS “the ultimate embarrassment.” Meanwhile, some went further and mocked Melania by writing that what she meant was “piss on the world.”

A few days back, Donald was also in hot water after Twitter users mocked his Christmas present for his wife. The president was asked what he got for the first lady and he said that he gave her a beautiful Christmas card.

Many didn’t believe him because he always gives the same answer when asked the same question. Another said that she also wanted to give Melania a card, a sympathy card, but she has no sympathy for the FLOTUS.

Meanwhile, some suggested that the best Christmas gift Donald could gift to Melania are divorce papers. One added that hopefully it would be a “big fat divorce settlement.”
