Melania Trump sparked fury from netizens after posting about President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The first lady of the United States celebrated her husband’s inauguration with a photo of herself. “It is a great honor to serve the people of this incredible country,” she wrote in the caption.

Unfortunately for the FLOTUS, several mocked her and even questioned her service. There were also a few who said that they didn’t really like Melania.

“How exactly have you been serving us? What have you done to make our lives better?” one commented.

“How do you serve? You don't DO anything!” another added.

“Name us one thing you've done to serve this country...I'll wait!” another critic demanded.

“Over half the country, and most of the world, hate you,” another wrote.

One user also lambasted the FLOTUS for celebrating the inauguration when she looked traumatized during the event.

“You appeared quite traumatised on the actual inauguration day for your husband,” the netizen opined.

Amid the backlash, the FLOTUS also received several warm messages from her supporters. Many also praised the first lady and the first family for their service to the country.

“We are honored to have such an elegant First Lady in our White House. THANK YOU for all you do and representing us with dignity, grace and decorum on the world stage,” @JeanneRivard wrote.

“America is honored to have you as our First Lady, Melania. Your work with sick children and your anti-bullying work is useful and appreciated. We love you,” Sean Lawlor Nelson commented.

In related news, Melania snubbed some of the traditions that former first ladies did. For instance, she didn’t immediately move to the White House following Trump’s inauguration. Instead, the FLOTUS stayed longer in New York and reportedly renovated the room she would be using before she moved in because she didn’t like how the Obamas designed it.

Also, Melania didn’t host state dinners at the end of the year. The previous first ladies did it for their husbands. There was also a time when Melania didn’t join Trump for the State of the Union address.

Trump and Melania celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.
