Melania Trump is the female face of the current administration. Since she assumed the role of being the First Lady of the United States from Michelle Obama, the former model has become a favorite subject of criticisms. Recently, a journalist released a book about the current FLOTUS’s life in the White House, including some interesting personal details about the wife of President Donald Trump.

In the “Free, Melania: The Unauthorized Biography” book, CNN reporter Kate Bennett claimed that Melania Trump, actually, holds a “significant” power over her husband. Though most, if not all, people think that Melania is meekly passive and submissive to President Donald Trump, she is not afraid of expressing her own thoughts and making her own decisions.

Kate, in a previous report, shared that Melania's power and influence was evident when she confirmed that Mira Ricardel was removed from her post in Nov. 2018. "When the President was slow to act on her request, the first lady simply -- and unprecedentedly -- put out a statement," she wrote.

The former deputy national security adviser of President Donald Trump, allegedly, clashed with the FLOTUS over seating arrangements on flights during her tour in Africa. The duo also, reportedly, had a disagreement on the allocation of government funds for the trip. The journalist added it was Melania Trump who was behind the termination Angella Reid in 2017.

Kate Bennett even claimed that the POTUS is “dependent” and “desperate for her approval.” She furthered that the FLOTUS is more powerful and influential than anyone else in the White House. She also said that it was the mom of one who encouraged the businessman to enter politics.

“There’s a common misperception that Melania was against Trump’s running for president. That she didn’t want him to do it. Not true,” Kate wrote on her new tome. “She very much pushed him to run, in part because she did actually believe he would win and do a good job, but she was also tired, really tired, of listening to him talk about it,” she continued.

In 2018, Melania Trump revealed to the press that she and the President do not have the same views and opinions on things. The FLOTUS underscored that she has her own voice and stated how it is important for her to express herself.

However, White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham divulged to People her disappointment over the release of the unauthorized biography, which allegedly cited a number of unnamed sources close to the first family and the Trump administration. Describing it as a form of betrayal to the FLOTUS, Stephanie said not all contents of the book are true, before adding that even Melania Trump was “surprised” at the journalist’s claims.

“Our office worked with Kate in good faith on her book, and thought she would do an honest job. Sadly, it includes many false details and opinions, showing Ms. Bennett spoke to many anonymous people who don’t know the First Lady,” Stephanie told the entertainment news outlet. “It continues to be disappointing when people, especially journalists, write books with false information just to profit off the First Family,” she went on.

Kate Bennett has yet to comment on Melania Trump’s remarks about her book.
