  • Melania Trump had a strong answer when asked if she only married President Donald Trump because of his money
  • The FLOTUS and POTUS, reportedly, do not use the word 'love' in their relationship
  • Melania Trump is said to be fearless when it comes to expressing her thoughts to certain issues

Melania Trump called herself the “most bullied” person in the world. True enough, the First Lady of the United States has become one of the most criticized personalities since she assumed the role of Michelle Obama in 2017. Despite her active participation in various humanitarian efforts, advocacies and campaigns, numerous critics continue to lambast the FLOTUS because of her background.

Rumors about Melania marrying President Donald Trump because of his money have been rife for quite some time now. In 2005, The New York Times, per Political Flare, reported that the FLOTUS was asked if she was a gold digger. The publication shared a business student at New York University questioned if the former model would still be with the business mogul if he was not wealthy. “If I weren’t beautiful, do you think he’d be with me?” Melania, reportedly, responded.

In the Dec. 2019 issue of Washingtonian, CNN reporter Kate Bennett shared that Melania Trump is very different from the previous first ladies. The journalist, previously, revealed that Melania and the POTUS never use the word “love” in their relationship. Kate, also, claimed that Melania is not afraid to talk about her thoughts even if it clashes with her husband’s ideas.

“Being First Lady sucks in so many ways that I almost appreciate the way she’s been like, I’m not going to hold his hand. We’ve watched so many political wives stand there in those awkward moments. She hasn’t commented on impeachment at all,” Kate told the publication when asked about Melania and President Donald Trump’s marriage. “Hillary Clinton went to Capitol Hill during [the Monica Lewinsky scandal] and said: I know what he did, it’s horrible, it’s terrible, but we’ve still got to support him. Melania’s like, I think I’ll talk about vaping today,” she went on.

In the same interview, Kate also suggested that Melania Trump is the most-free person at the White House. Though several people think that she is trapped and not happy with her situation right now, the FLOTUS is, reportedly, feeling otherwise. The author of the “Free, Melania: The Unauthorized Biography” book even claimed that Melania is, actually, warm and very friendly, which totally different from what others assume of her.

Kate Bennett even shared that Melania Trump has more power and influence on President Donald Trump. “So to underestimate her as some trophy wife who just stands there and pouts—that is not who she is at all. To be married to Donald Trump for 20 years, I think you have to have legit survival skills,” she continued.
