  • Netizens criticized the latest offering of the 2020 Trump Campaign
  • Melania Trump is expected to be more involved in the 2020 Trump Campaign

Melania Trump and President Donald Trump are said to have a very different kind of marriage. Barron’s mom was, reportedly, not that involved with her husband’s presidential campaign in 2016. Though they were never seen displaying affection in public, White House insiders claimed that the FLOTUS and her better half do care for each other so much.

Recently, it was revealed that Melania will be making an appearance on the fundraising trail for Donald’s 2020 presidential campaign. “Win a trip to meet first lady Melania Trump in Beverly Hills,” the campaign literature said, per Washington Examiner. No exact date was mentioned but it was predicted to happen in mid-March.

“First lady Melania Trump is a sought-after voice from the First Family, who has the overwhelming approval and admiration of the American people,” Trump 2020 spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany stated in a statement, per Time Magazine. “She is an incredible mother, wife, leader, and first lady for our nation,” she went on. Kayleigh has made it clear, however, that the campaign is not releasing any detail about the fundraising.

Critics of the Trump administration were quick to lambast its latest campaign move. There were some who said having a meet-and-greet with Melania Trump would still not make them attend the fundraising event. “a new reality show...Pimping Flotus,” Greg O’Neill wrote on Twitter. “This is disgusting that the White House condones selling the First Lady. Mushroom man will do anything to increase his ‘pole’ numbers,” a netizen stated. “This shows how low trump will go to stay in office. Treating his wife like an object; First lady of the highest office. So disrespectful,” another said.

“I really dont know why she wants to be re-elect, because she didnt do anything for this country!!!! Just Be Best goodie bag!” a fourth netizen posted on Twitter. “She's already sent out letters on FLOTUS "stationery". My Democrat husband has gotten 2! Bitch,” Kathy Maddux Pearlman stated. “Never in a million years. I'd rather burn that money!!!” Evans Labathe said.

Melania Trump has yet to comment on these harsh remarks. To recall, Melania had a very minute role during the 2016 presidential campaign. The FLOTUS, at the time, shared she needed to stay home to take care of Barron. The former model, however, appeared in a number of political rallies and even talked at the 2016 Republican National Convention.
