  • Melania Trump defended Donald Trump after he talked about sexually assaulting women
  • The FLOTUS claimed that the POTUS doesn't say bad and vulgar things about women
  • Melania Trump called Donald Trump and Billy Bush's conversation a locker room talk

Melania Trump previously defended her husband, Donald Trump, after he was heard bragging about sexually assaulting women.

While the FLOTUS was pregnant with their son, Barron, a recording of the POTUS talking about groping women because he’s a celebrity was leaked. The recording was released by The Washington Post.

The POTUS’ use of vulgar language was quite alarming and over a decade later, CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked the FLOTUS to share her thoughts on the incident.

At that time, Trump was just three weeks away from being named as the president of the United States.

“I said to my husband that the language is inappropriate, it’s not acceptable, and I was surprised because that is not the man that I know,” Melania said.

The FLOTUS also suggested that her husband was encouraged by Billy Bush to say bad and dirty statements. Melania also blamed the left-wing media of trying to stir to the pot to make sure that the POTUS won’t win in the 2016 elections.

Melania also described the conversation between her husband and Bush as a locker room talk and said that he sometimes thinks that the POTUS is just like a teenage boy.

“Sometimes I said I have two boys at home: I have my young son and I have my husband. But I know how some men talk and that's how I saw it, yes,” she said.

Meanwhile, the first lady also talked about her 13-year-old son, Barron Trump, and said that the young boy is not allowed to use bad language. But every now and then, Melania said that Barron says some bad words, which is normal for his age.

At the end of the day, the FLOTUS doesn’t fail to remind her son that there are consequences to the things that he says.

Melania and Barron are very close. In fact, the mother and son spend a lot of time with each other. President Trump, on the other hand, rarely hangs out with Barron but when they do, they play golf together.
