Melania Trump is smart but not given enough credit.

Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law described the first lady as smart. However, Lara Trump, Eric Trump’s wife, believes that she is not given the recognition she deserves.

Speaking with author Dough Wead for the latter’s book entitled “Inside the White House,” Lara shared her observation on Melania.

“She’s an incredibly smart woman, and people don’t give her nearly enough credit. When you look at the past First Ladies, there is a totally different standard,” Lara said.

“The media criticism is so overdone that it actually backfires.”

In the same book, Donald’s son, Donald Jr., shares his thoughts on why Melania has to face endless criticisms from her and the POTUS’ critics. According to him, the backlash was not intended to hurt Melania, but it was their way to get to the POTUS.

“It is shades of the old movie plot in which the villain realises that he can’t break the hero so he turns his wrath on the hero’s family,” Wead said on how Donald Jr. saw the attacks on Melania.

Donald’s son insisted that the attacks were meant to hurt the president because they couldn’t break him. Thus, they turn to Melania who is innocent because they know that he doesn’t want to see his wife hurt.

Donald Jr. also debunked the claims that Melania was being captive in the White House and the FLOTUS denouncing her husband because Donald and Melania have always had a good relationship.

Journalist Andrew Cohen shared the same premise. According to him, Melania is the “greatest casualty” of Donald’s presidency. He said that Donald’s staff could leave him easily, but it is more complicated for Melania to do the same because she is married to him.

In related news, Melania is stunning in her fashion choices. The first lady was gorgeous in her all-black ensemble when she joined the president on Christmas Eve. She was also as beautiful in her blue-green shining, shimmering dress when she helped kids track Santa.
