Actress and comedienne Melissa McCarthy, 44, debuted her fashion line, which officially launches Sept. 1. The actress revealed a few pieces from her Melissa McCarthy Seven7 clothing line.

The line includes a lot of black and white, as well as fun heart and animal prints on blouses, pants and dresses, and plenty of pockets. Dresses range in size from 4 to 28, and have asymmetrical hemlines and flattering silhouettes, People reported. Denims also are included.

The actress revealed she used to be “completely against” jeans but recently jumped on the bandwagon. “One of the best parts of a woman’s body is that curve, and I go a little bit higher on all of my things to show off the best part of the hourglass,” she said, speaking about the bottomwear in her collection. The actress said she has worn every single piece of her clothing line, to make sure of the fit.

The jeans are stretchy and come all the way up to eliminate the muffin top -- overhanging fat that spills over the waistline of pants or skirts -- and peeping underwear.

McCarthy added sleeves to most of her clothes. “My stuff has sleeves, my stuff has pockets, you can count on that,” McCarthy said.

She said an artist friend of hers in Los Angeles designed the heart-print pattern featured on white tunic tops. She had asked him to do something really quick with lots of energy.

The actress, who is known for her roles in films like “Bridesmaids” and “Tammy” said in June creating the collection has been a passion project for her.

The collection will be available at Lane Bryant, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Belk, Bloomingdale’s, and on HSN and her website.
