Businesses across the country are taking part in the commemoration of Memorial Day by offering discounts, freebies and deals -- not to mention privileges specifically for those who have served in the armed forces.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

For every purchase of a regular-size latte or Ice Blended drink, customers get a free beverage alongside it at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The promo runs from Saturday to Monday, starting at 2 p.m. until closing time.

National Parks

Family members of active and fallen U.S. military personnel will get free access to all national parks across the country, beginning on Memorial Day. According to the National Parks Service (NPS), military families can enjoy free admission by downloading a voucher and signing it to prove that they are "eligible next of kin" to a member of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Crook & Marker

Get a free eight-pack of Crook & Marker's new canned Lime Margaritas for any eight-pack at any of its stores. Promo is valid until the last day of the month.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Provided that they bring their military ID, Buffalo Wild Wings is taking 10% off the tab of a service member or a veteran.

Tim Hortons

Tim Hortons is offering a free bagel of equal or lesser value with any bagel purchase from May 19 through June 2 for registered Tims Rewards members.

Chick-fil-A

Stores of the franchise will offer a 10% discount for customers who are active members of the U.S. military or are veterans.

Pie Five Pizza

This pizza place is paying its respects to the war heroes of the country by giving away free personal pizzas to active or retired members of the military.

TGI Fridays

Customers who dine at TGI Fridays between Friday and Monday get 25% off any Family Meal bundle.

Stoner’s Pizza Joint

This Monday, Stoner’s Pizza Joint is offering several buy-one-get-one specials for Memorial Day. These include six warm, half-baked chocolate chip cookies free for every purchase of six cookies. The same applies to garlic knots and cheese sticks.

Home Depot

Veterans who buy at Home Depot are entitled to a 10% discount if they show a valid Department of Defense-issued ID, a DD214 or a veteran's driver's license.

Shake Shack

From May 21 to June 12, customers can enjoy a free order of Crinkle Cut Fries with every purchase of a burger or chicken sandwich from one of their stores, provided that they show proof that they have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme is offering a deal people shouldn't pass up. For those who have gotten their COVID-19 vaccines, simply provide proof of the vaccination when ordering at Krispy Kreme, and the restaurant will provide a free donut every day for the rest of the year.
