Michelle Rodriguez shared updates about the new characters joining them in "Fast X."

"Fast and Furious" fans will see several new faces in the upcoming movie. Among them is Jason Momoa, and Rodriguez has shared some details about his role.

"Oh, hell yeah," Rodriguez said of Momoa's villain role in the film at the trailer release party, Entertainment Tonight reported. "He's a playful one, that one. He can be malicious, but he can be playful. So, it's really exciting to watch. It's like a new, fresh energy."

"There's something charming about him," she continued. "He does everything with a smirk, and there's something really cute about that."

She quipped, "Maybe it's just that he's hot. Maybe I'm just thrown off because he's so hot."

Aside from Momoa, Rita Moreno, Brie Larson and Helen Mirren are joining the team. Charlize Theron and John Cena are also returning to reprise their roles in the final two-part film.

"How many Oscar winners do we have? 4 -- 4, for Christ's sake! You got Brie, you got Charlize, you got Rita, and of course, I mean the goddess," Rodriguez gushed. "I mean have you ever seen -- I'm not going to mention that movie but like, Helen Mirren is -- [I] just love her."

The original cast members, including Rodriguez, Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang and Scott Eastwood, will all return to reprise their respective roles in the film.

Jason Statham will also reunite with the team. Diesel previously mentioned he tried to get Dwayne Johnson back for the finale. He also made a public plea to The Rock in a post on Instagram in November 2021.

"My little brother Dwayne... the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10," Diesel wrote along with a throwback photo of them from the film series. "Legacy awaits. I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo. I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10! I say this out of love... but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle you have a very important role to play. Hobbs can't be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny."

However, the "Red Notice" star clarified that he would not be returning to the franchise. He said he had already told Diesel about the decision before the latter's Instagram post.

"This past June, when Vin and I actually connected not over social media, I told him directly – and privately – that I would not be returning to the franchise," Johnson told CNN on Wednesday.

"I would always be supportive of the cast and always root for the franchise to be successful, but that there was no chance I would return," he added.

"Fast X" will hit theaters on May 19, 2023.
