Microsoft Store has started a limited period $100 discount offer on the Core i5 powered Surface Pro 4 models. Speculations indicate that Microsoft is now building the Surface Pro 5 to replace the last year’s model.

On Microsoft Store, buyers can now avail a discount of $100 on the two Core i5 editions of Surface Pro 4. There is one Core i5 model that comes with features like 128 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM.

Its regular price is $999, but with the new price of $100, buyers can purchase it for $899. It means that Microsoft Store is selling the Intel Core m3 model that features 128 GB of storage and 4 GB as well as the Intel Core i5 model with same configuration of storage and RAM with the same price of $899.

On the other hand, the other Core i5 Surface Pro 4 variant has 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. This variant is available for $1,199 after a discount of $100 over its normal price of $1,299. The offers on both Core i5 models are valid till March 26.

On Amazon, the Surface 3 is available with an attractive discount on its Wi-Fi models. The 64 GB and 128 GB models of the tablet can now be availed with a respective discount of $115 and $125.

According to Mobi Picker, the Redmond giant may have already started working on Microsoft Surface Pro 5, the successor model for Surface Pro 4. It is expected to release in July or October this year. Rumors also indicate that Surface Book 2 is also under the works. The Surface Pro 5 as well as Surface Book 2 is expected to arrive preinstalled with Windows 10 Redstone 2 update.
