Pop sensation Miley Cyrus gave a dazzling performance at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas. The performance came hours after the news of her and model Kaitlynn Carter’s split was made public on Saturday.

According to E! News, the singer sang her heart out and performed some of her biggest hits including “Wrecking Ball,” “Slide Away,” “We Can’t Stop,” and her newly released collaborative single “Don’t Call Me Angel.” In addition to her own songs, she also covered some of the legendary hits, like Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog” and Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb.”

Cyrus and Carter, who started their relationship last month, have decided to part ways after a whirlwind romance. It has been claimed that they decided to end their romance because the “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker might not be ready for another “serious relationship” at this point of time.

A source told People that the 26-year-old musician is not looking for anything “serious” right now and wants to focus on her career.

Cyrus started dating Carter following a high-profile breakup from ex-husband and movie star Liam Hemsworth.

The source added that the couple intends to be on good terms as they supported each other through tough times. But they have decided to no longer stay in a romantic relationship anymore.

Cyrus and Carter were seen together on numerous occasions over the past month, but the singer hasn’t commented about their sightings together.

The “Malibu” hitmaker was spotted kissing Carter just hours after the announcement of her split with Hemsworth. The fans were really shocked to see her locking lips with Brody Jenner’s ex-wife and accused her of cheating.

The singer denied all the claims of her cheating on the “Hunger Games” star and refused to admit that her marriage ended because of it.

The news of their split became even more complex when it was reported that the 29-year-old actor found out about his separation from the “Younger Now” hitmaker through social media and was completely “blindsided” by the announcement.

A source told US Weekly that Hemsworth wanted to work things out, but the pictures of Cyrus kissing her then-rumored girlfriend just ended all the possibilities.
