Miss Piggy is indeed “playing the field” after she and her boyfriend of 40 years, Kermit the Frog, split last month, just like “Muppets” executive producer Bill Prady said. After rumors swirled that the famous amphibian got a new girlfriend, “Star Trek” icon William Shatner wondered on Twitter if Miss Piggy was available.

The plush hog issued a prompt response. “Very much available, mon cher,” Miss Piggy tweeted to Shatner late Tuesday evening. “Gimme a call! I'd love to boldly go where no pig has gone before.”

Shatner isn’t the only man Miss Piggy has her eye on. She also spent the weekend with “Hunger Games” star Liam Hemsworth. “Loved @LiamHemsworth, our latest guest coming to #TheMuppets. Although, I had to explain that hunger is NEVER a game!” she wrote Sunday.

The Australian hunk seemed to enjoy their date together, too. He took to Instagram to gush about the “Muppets” star. Hemsworth shared a photo of him gazing into Miss Piggy’s eyes. "Spent Friday with the most beautiful girl in the world," the actor captioned the image Monday.

Even though Kermit is the one who called their relationship off, Miss Piggy is taking it in stride. “Any kind of attention is good publicity,” she said during a panel in early August. “Dating moi is like flying close to the sun. It was inevitable that Kermit would drop down to the ground while I stayed up in the heavens.”

In truth, Miss Piggy’s career has taken off. She was given her own late-night talk show, called “Up Late with Miss Piggy.” Since she so happens to be working with Kermit on the set, they both got their own spinoff that documents their working relationship.

As for Kermit, he slammed rumors that he was dating Denise the Pig, who is head of marketing at ABC. He said they were just "close friends."

“The Muppets” will premiere at 8 p.m. EDT Sept. 22 on ABC.
