A new leak reveals more of the Galaxy Z Flips alleged specs and features. This new leak, combined with earlier reports, give consumers the idea that Samsung has decided to overtake the Motorola Razr even before it is released.

The new leak comes from German-speaking tech site WinFuture.de, and it reveals more details about the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip as compared to previous reports. The leak includes renders that gives readers a better look at how the device will look like in two different colors.

Those who worry that the new leak might be a hoax can rest in the fact that the tech site has a “solid track record” when it comes to leaks, Gizmodo noted, which lends credence to all the details and renders included in the leak.

That said, here's what fans should expect from the Galaxy Z Flip, as per the current and previous leaks:

Displays

First, the Galaxy Z Flip is tipped to be the first foldable smartphone to feature bendable glass inside. This feature, called “Ultra Thin Glass,” is flatter and has fewer wrinkles compared to the plastic screens found in other devices, including Samsung's very own Galaxy Fold.

The device is said to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with 2,636 x 1,080 display resolution. The screen has a 22:9 aspect ratio, which means it will be useful when watching movies on the device. What's more, the display has support for HDR10+ video as well.

Outside, the Galaxy Z Flip will have a 1.06-inch exterior display that will be used to tell the time and inform the user if there's any notification. This display will be covered by Gorilla Glass.

Hinge

Interestingly, the Galaxy Z Flip is said to feature a hinge that can be opened and set at various degrees. It can be freely opened between 70 and 110 degrees, and can be set to open in a 90-degree position so that it can be propped on a table like a pocket-sized laptop.

Cameras

The Galaxy Z Flip is said to feature a 12MP main and 12MP ultra-wide camera at the back. The device will also have a 10MP selfie camera safely nestled inside a circular punch hole.

Other important details

Unlike the new Razr, the Galaxy Z Flip won't be a midrange device. It is said to have a Snapdragon 855+ powering it, backed by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will also have a 3,300 mAh battery, which is bigger than the Razr's 2,510 mAh battery. Sadly, the new device won't have a microSD card slot or a headphone jack.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is tipped to sell for $1,400 per unit, and will be launched on Feb. 14, XDA Developers said.
