The Baltimore Police Department released the mugshots of the six city police officers charged in connection with the arrest and death of Freddie Gray, several reports indicated Friday night.

Four of the officers, Ceasar Goodson, William Porter, Brian Rice and Alicia White, face serious charges of either murder or manslaughter. Two others, Edward Nero and Garrett Miller, were not charged with murder or manslaughter but face second-degree assault and official misconduct chargers.

The city's police union disputed the charges on Friday. “Let me begin by stating how appalled and frustrated we are at this morning’s events ... We are disappointed in the apparent rush to judgment given the fact that the investigation into this matter has not been concluded,” said the police union's president, Gene Ryan, in a statement on Friday. “Our officers, like every other American, are entitled to due process.”
